About Me!

On November 14 of 2003 at 8:00 pm in a middle school auditorium in Glen Ridge, New Jersey a two year old Jewish and Puerto Rican pirate named Samy Cordero made her community theatre debut. Since then she has made it a point to immerse herself in all aspects of the artform theatre that she can. From musicals to plays, comedy to drama, she does it all.  She also can name every episode and corresponding season of Fox’s hit show New Girl with only a 3% margin of error.  Samy Cordero has loved her time at Webster University, favorite credits including Suzanne in Amelie, Mae in Mud, and Clarín in Sueño. But she cannot wait to return to the New Jersey, New York area! She believes that art is a critical entryway to the cultural and social narratives that define our everyday lives, and so often need to be challenged. She uses the power of radical storytelling to deeply connect with anyone willing to listen.
